Russells Hall Hospital - Work Experience

I successfully completed my work experience in the Maternity unit at: Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, West Midlands. My work experience was a one week course, rotating around the different areas, in the Maternity Unit.
I had the most amazing week, learning about the procedures involved in assisting a birth. Through this, I learnt a lot of medical terms, that have helped to understand the pressures, that a person in the medical industry has to go through, before deciding on the current status of a patient and what the patient needs to move forward. I had always been afraid of the sight of blood, but however, I learnt to overcome that during the course of my work experience. Due to having the chance to observe procedures that I thought I would never be comfortable observing, my level of confidence has now increased, and now I am willing to be involved in elements, that before I thought that I could never be comfortable with. I have learnt that you should never judge your abilities, before putting them to practise, which I think is very important when deciding your future.
This experience has helped me to decide on what I would like to do in the future, because before I thought that I would not be able to cope with the stress and the fast moving environment of a hospital, but when I was surrounded by this, I was overwhelmed at how much I actually loved it!
Therefore, I would like to conclude that my work experience was more than I had hoped for, in which I have learnt many important ideas from working alongside the maternity team at Russells Hall Hospital.

Rimmel London Long Lasting Lipstick

It is an amazing Lipstick but I would have to stay it is exactly a 3 hours lasting lipstick.
I put it on around 10am and it was fully gone by 1pm and I hadn't eaten at all that day.
It gives a nice glow to your lips and volumes them!
I would love to say that they brighten your lips up but sadly they don't, which is kind of a shock because of the bright colours they are in.
I love the smell that they give out, it is like a soft flower scent.
I wouldn't recommend the brown one but you could give the red and orange a try.
You could also put Vaseline under the lipstick as it gives a beautiful shine. It kind of helps to brighten your lips but not much!

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Light

I absolutely love this!
It has a great coverage which is a medium to high coverage.
It covers all spots and blemishes but it doesn't quite work well with bright red breakouts.
It is great with combination to oily skin.
I have found that it does last very long time without wearing out, which is great when it is hot!
It reacts to photos well giving a healthy glow and a smooth finish.
I love how it feels so light on your skin that you don't actually feel like your wearing it.
My advise would be that you don't build with it as it doesn't react to building very well.
Also wash your face with a cleanser, before you put it on as it gives an even better result, than wearing it on top of dust and oils that have already settled on your skin.
It gives this magical glow to your skin which compliments to the natural look.
It isn't pricey but not cheap. I would say that it is better than any other BB cream I have tried.
It is around £10 from boots.
I would recommend it!
